The Graeagle Hydroelectric Project Project has produced environmentally sensitive power since 1981. This 450 kW project operates under FERC exemption in Plumas County, California at the 5,000 ft. elevation

The Salmon Creek Hydroelectric Project has produced 540 kW of power since 1985. Operating under FERC exemption this unique project produces power in harmony with the extensive recreational use of the
Lakes Basin in Sierra County, California.

Tunnel Hill and Buckeye Hydroelectric Projects

Tunnel Hill Hydro LLC owns and operates two projects located on the irrigation system of the Georgetown Divide PUD.

The Buckeye Hydroelectric Project is a 375kW project utilizing a cross flow turbine with 250 ft of gross head. The site went into operation in 2008. Take a tour.

The Tunnel Hill Hydroelectric Project is a 585kW project utilizing a twin jet Turgo turbine with 250 ft of gross head. The site went into operation in 2009. Take a tour.

The Cottonwood Canyon Hydroelectric Project was acquired by Henwood’s affiliate, White Mountain Power LLC, in 2005. Utilizing 1200 ft of head the project produces 750 kW of power in Mono County, California
